About Kristin
Kristin Kaye was the 2002 U.S. Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior National Champion and a member of the U.S. Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior and Senior National Teams from 2001-2003.
After battling anorexia for three years, Kristin returned to rhythmic gymnastics in February of 2007, and is currently a member of the 2007 U.S. Rhythmic Gymnastics Senior National Group Team.
Kristin is passionate about sharing her story with others to show that full recovery from this illness is possible. Kristin displays a strong "desire to inspire" people to gain the self-confidence needed to obtain and substain personal acceptance.
The goal of Kristin's presentation is to bring attention to the seriousness and severity of eating disorders in hopes of helping in the prevention of these illnesses as a whole.
Kristin is currently an undergraduate student at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois studying dietetics and psychology. In the future, she hopes to go into sports nutrition and work with athletes to help them perform to their greatest potential by obtaining individual optimal nutrition and positive self-motivation.
